By accessing or using Golden Compass services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use our services.

Golden Compass provides:

• Web development and design services
• Mobile application development
• Digital strategy and consulting
• UI/UX design services
• Technical support and maintenance

You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Use our services only for lawful purposes
• Respect intellectual property rights
• Maintain confidentiality of your account credentials
• Promptly notify us of any unauthorized use
• Cooperate with our team throughout project development

Project Scope

All projects begin with a detailed scope of work that outlines deliverables, timelines, and responsibilities. Changes to project scope require written agreement and may affect timeline and cost.

Payment Terms

• Payment schedules are defined in project agreements
• Late payments may incur additional fees
• Work may be suspended for overdue accounts
• All payments are non-refundable unless otherwise specified

Project Timeline

Timelines are estimates based on project scope and client responsiveness. Delays in client feedback or approval may extend project timelines.

Client Content

You retain ownership of content you provide. You grant us license to use this content for project development and delivery.

Developed Work

Upon full payment, you receive ownership of custom-developed work. We retain rights to reusable components, methodologies, and general know-how.

Third-Party Content

Any third-party content, libraries, or tools remain subject to their respective licenses and terms.

We maintain strict confidentiality of your business information, trade secrets, and proprietary data. This obligation continues beyond the termination of our business relationship.

Service Warranty

We warrant that our services will be performed with professional skill and care. We will correct any defects in our work at no additional cost within the warranty period.

Disclaimers

Services are provided "as is" without warranties beyond those explicitly stated. We disclaim all implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

Our liability is limited to the amount paid for services. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or business interruption.

Either party may terminate services with written notice:

• Immediately for material breach of terms
• With 30 days notice for convenience
• Immediately for non-payment

Upon termination, you remain responsible for payment of completed work.

Post-launch support and maintenance services are available under separate agreements. Basic support is included for a specified period after project completion.

We are not liable for delays or failures due to circumstances beyond our control, including natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, or technical failures of third-party services.

Disputes will be resolved through good faith negotiations. If unresolved, disputes will be subject to binding arbitration in San Francisco, CA, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.

We may update these terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated to active clients. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
